TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms and conditions ("Terms") outline the understanding between the customer ("you") and SDH("we" or "us") regarding shipping times for products or services and the nature of handmade products with regards to sizing and consistency. Please carefully read and understand these Terms before engaging in any transactions with us. By placing an order or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms. 

 

Handcrafted Products 

  1. The majority of our products we offer are handmade by skilled craftsman within the industry, adding a unique and personal touch to your purchase. With any handmade piece there could be some slight variations in sizing, especially with hand-blown glass. Due to the nature of hand-blown pieces, there is the possibility of a sizing discrepancy within +/- 0.5” inches.
  1. With any true hand blown glass piece, there is always the possibility of small air bubbles within the glass itself as they are a natural byproduct of any hand blown glass item. These are not considered defects unless they affect the functionality or safety of an item. We take great care to ensure the quality and consistency of our handmade items, but slight variations are inherent and should be expected.

Shipping

  1. Shipping Time Estimates: We strive to provide accurate estimates of shipping times for your convenience. However, please note that shipping times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Depending on third-party shipping carriers and various external factors that may affect delivery times, which are beyond our direct control.
  1. Factors Affecting Shipping Times: Several factors can influence shipping times, including but not limited to: a. Processing Time: The time required to process your order, including verification, packaging, and preparation for shipment. b. Carrier Services: The shipping carrier's policies, procedures, and workload, which may impact the speed of delivery. c. Transit Time: The time taken for the package to travel from our facility to the designated delivery address. This may vary depending on the distance, shipping method, and the destination's specific circumstances.
  1. Delivery Delays: While we make every effort to ensure prompt delivery, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances may include but are not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, customs clearance procedures, transportation strikes, or other unforeseen events.
  1. Communication and Updates: We will strive to keep you informed about the progress of your order and any potential delays. We may provide tracking information or updates through email, SMS, or other communication channels you have provided. However, please note that such updates are based on the information available to us at the time and may not always reflect real-time delivery status.
  1. Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete shipping information during the ordering process. Any inaccuracies or omissions may result in delivery delays or non-delivery for which we cannot be held liable. Please ensure that you are available to receive the package or make appropriate arrangements with the carrier for redelivery or pickup.
  • **Time Frame Specific Delivery**: It is the responsibility of the customer to communicate any specific time frame requirements for an order at the time the order is placed. Our trained service associates can ascertain whether or not an order may arrive within your required time frame, but again, all time frame expectations are merely estimates and SDH. is not responsible for orders that do not arrive within a customers expected time frame if not communicated directly.

Customer Returns / Exchanges

  1. Return Shipping Costs: If you need to return a product for any reason, please note that you will be responsible for the costs associated with the return shipping. This includes any shipping fees, customs duties, or other charges incurred during the return process. The initial cost to process and ship an order out to you is also non-refundable.
  1. Refund Processing: Once we receive the returned item and verify its condition, we will initiate the refund process. Please note that any original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase will not be included in the refund amount. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  1. Exceptions: In the event that a return is necessary due to a mistake on our part, such as a defective or incorrect item, we will arrange and cover the return shipping costs. Please contact our customer support team for assistance in such cases.
